Berkeley School of Islamic Research, Arts & Sciences

The Berkeley School of Islamic Research, Arts & Sciences is a pioneering faith-based educational institution established by Musa Shaikh under the Berkeley Voice of Global Women initiative.
The school provides free, high-quality education to orphan and underprivileged girls, integrating Qur’an memorization (Hifz) with the latest British curriculum, fluency in English and Arabic, and practical life and leadership skills.

Our mission is to nurture future leaders who are academically capable, spiritually strong, financially independent, and morally grounded — combining the timeless wisdom of Islam with the intellectual and creative strength of modern education.

Berkeley Middle East Mother and Child Health Clinic

The Berkeley Middle East Mother and Child Health Clinic stands as a beacon of hope, care, and dignity — a place where compassion meets medical excellence, and where every mother and child is treated as family.
Founded by Musa Shaikh and led by Azra Mahmood Shaikh, under the blessings and gracious support of H.E. Aarefa Al Falahi, this centre was established with one powerful purpose: to ensure that no woman or child suffers due to lack of care, access, or affordability.

Born from a vision rooted in faith and humanity, the centre blends medical innovation with mercy, offering a sanctuary where healing is not just a treatment — it is an act of love.
